Privacy Policy

Herzen Co. (“Herzen Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and otherwise processed when you visit our website, submit an inquiry, interact with our content, or use links and features available through the website (collectively, the “Website”).

1. Who we are

The Website is operated by Herzen Co. Privacy questions may be sent to hello@herzenco.co.

2. Information we collect

Contact-form information

When you submit an inquiry, we may collect your full name; company, if supplied; email address; phone number, if supplied; selected service interest; project description or message; submission page; initial landing page; referring URL without query parameters; UTM source, medium, campaign, content, and term; and submission date and time. A hidden honeypot assists with spam detection. Our inquiry endpoint temporarily uses an IP address for rate limiting but does not intentionally add it to the lead record. Contact-form information is sent to Herzen Co.’s Operational Command Center for lead and inquiry management.

Mixpanel

If you consent to analytics, Mixpanel may process an anonymous visitor or device identifier stored in local storage; page path, type, and title; resource slug; referring domain; UTM parameters; page views; scroll and active-time milestones; total engagement; resource reads; navigation, outbound-link, CTA, and mobile-menu interactions; contact-form starts and successful submissions; selected service interest; and platform and environment information. Mixpanel is configured not to collect IP addresses. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, or form messages to Mixpanel.

Vercel

We use Vercel for hosting, serverless inquiry processing, logs, infrastructure, and, with your analytics consent, Web Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics measures traffic and custom lead CTA and successful form-submission events. Vercel may process ordinary request, network, browser, and device information needed to provide its services.

Google Tag Manager and Google Ads

If you consent to advertising technologies, Google Tag Manager container GTM-K9SZRQ94 and Google Ads tag AW-11011556680 may load. Depending on configuration, Google may process advertising cookies or identifiers, page visits, campaign and referral information, browser and device information, IP or IP-derived information, approximate location, and advertising attribution or conversion activity. Tags configured remotely through Google Tag Manager may send information to Google or other configured providers.

Browser storage and similar technologies

We use local storage to save your privacy choices. If analytics is enabled, Mixpanel also uses local storage for its anonymous identifier and persistence. Session storage may remember an initial landing page for inquiry attribution. Consented providers may use cookies, browser storage, or similar identifiers according to their configurations. You can change your selections at any time using “Privacy choices” in the Website footer.

Ordinary technical information

The Website and connected providers may process IP address, request timestamp, requested URL, browser and device information, operating system, referrer, approximate IP-derived location, and error, security, diagnostic, and server logs.

3. How we use information

We may use information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website; respond to inquiries; communicate with prospective clients; manage leads; understand interest in services; measure traffic, engagement, campaigns, referral sources, and advertising attribution; detect spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents; enforce rate limits; troubleshoot errors; comply with law; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

The Website does not currently implement account registration, login, payment collection, ecommerce checkout, or newsletter subscription.

4. How we disclose information

Recipients may include Mixpanel for behavioral analytics; Vercel for hosting, serverless processing, logs, infrastructure, and consented analytics; Google Tag Manager for consented tag delivery; Google Ads for consented advertising measurement and attribution; Google Fonts for font delivery; Calendly for scheduling when you follow a scheduling link; and Herzen Co.’s Operational Command Center for contact-form leads.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers; when required by law; to protect rights, safety, security, or property; in connection with a business transaction; or with your direction or consent. We do not operate functionality designed to sell contact-form information. Some laws define sale, sharing, or targeted advertising broadly; you may reject or disable advertising technologies through our privacy controls.

5. Third-party links and services

The Website may link to third-party services, including Calendly. Their privacy policies and terms govern their processing. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, manage business relationships, maintain records, protect systems, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Providers apply retention periods based on our account configurations and their terms.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No Internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure.

8. International data transfers

Herzen Co. and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws differ from those where you live. Where required, recognized safeguards may be used.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and applicable exceptions, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of certain information; object to or restrict processing; opt out of targeted advertising or sharing; withdraw consent; and appeal certain decisions. 10. Advertising and preference choices

Optional analytics and advertising technologies are disabled until you make a choice. You may accept all, reject non-essential technologies, choose by category, or change your selection later through “Privacy choices” in the footer. Browser and provider controls may offer additional choices.

11. Children’s privacy

The Website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Website.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in practices, technology, providers, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision, and additional notice will be provided when required.
